Our Fees & Funding

Fees and funding Valley House Nursery

At Valley House, we provide various options for Nursery Education Funding:

Valley House Nursery accepts childcare vouchers, payments from the GOV UK tax-free childcare accounts, and also accommodates students who pay through their college or university.

We offer Nursery Education Funding sessions for eligible children aged 2, 3, and 4, with both 15 and 30-hour options available.

For eligible 2-year-olds, up to 15 hours of free childcare is available. Any additional hours or sessions accessed at the nursery will be charged according to Valley House Nursery's pricing structure. For 3- and 4-year-olds, up to 15 hours of Nursery Education Funding is provided, which children become eligible for the term following their 3rd birthday. Additionally, eligible families can inquire about accessing up to 30 hours of funding for children over the age of 3 by speaking to a member of staff.

Valley House Nursery offers various sessions to support our families. We provide childcare services for children aged between 6 weeks and 5 years, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Our nursery operates throughout the year, with the exception of Bank Holidays and for one week over Christmas. We also have a holiday scheme available for school-aged children. If you need more information about this, please get in touch with the nursery.

Our fees are calculated on a monthly basis and must be paid one month in advance via bank transfer. Invoices are generated monthly and sent to parents/carers via email.

To secure a place at Valley House Nursery, we require a non-refundable registration fee of £30.00. However, we do not charge a registration fee for funded-only places.

We kindly request that children attend the nursery for a minimum of 1 full day or 2 sessions per week. This helps them settle well into nursery life.

All details regarding nursery fees can be found in our terms and conditions, which are provided during the registration process. Additional information can be found in the nursery's Flexible Funding Agreement and the Admissions and Waiting List Policy, including details about Nursery Education Funding for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via phone or email.

For children who attend nursery during lunch time, a packed lunch is required. We encourage healthy eating, and you can find ideas for a nutritious lunchbox at the following link: https://www.nhs.uk/change4life/recipes/healthier-lunchboxes
